This uniquely curved blade is designed for catching and controlling opponents. When you hit a creature with an attack using this weapon, you can use a bonus action to attempt to grapple them (DC = 8 + your weapon attack bonus). While grappling a creature in this way, you cannot make weapon attacks with this weapon.
