This elegant crown glimmers with a cold celestial glow, its icy gemstones reflecting the endless night sky. While wearing it, you gain the ability to read the stars. As a Study action, you can navigate using the stars and always know the direction of north.
The crown also shields you from intrusive magic. You are protected from divination spells that target you, such as Scrying or Detect Thoughts. When a creature attempts to use such magic on you, they instead witness a vision of ever-growing frost, clouding their sight. The caster must make a DC 16 Intelligence saving throw.
- On a failed save, they take 1d4 psychic damage, the spell fails, and their spell slot is wasted.
- On a successful save, the spell proceeds as normal, but you have advantage on any saving throws against it.
