This imposing helmet captures the terrifying visage of the Cavern King. When worn, the wearer’s face is enshrouded in shadow, with only two glowing red orbs where their eyes should be, leaving behind a bearded, horned silhouette resembling the legendary ruler.
If a goblin or gnome attempts to wear or attune to this item, they take 1d8 psychic damage as a deep, echoing laughter from the Cavern King mocks their unworthiness.
While wearing this helmet, the wearer gains darkvision up to 180 feet and cannot be blinded. Additionally, they have advantage on Wisdom and Intelligence saving throws against spells.
