Gouren (Houndfolk)
Gouren are perceptive people with a reputation for alertness and practical cooperation. Many Gouren communities value mutual aid and quick coordination, and can commonly be found as watchkeepers and couriers.
Gouren Traits
As a Gouren, you have the following traits.
- Ability Score Increase. Your Wisdom score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
- Creature Type. You are a Humanoid.
- Size. You are Small or Medium. You choose the size when you select this race.
- Speed. Your walking speed is 30 feet.
- Expedient Aid. You can take the Search or Help action as a Bonus Action.
- Quick Retrieval. On each of your turns, you can interact with up to two objects for free, but only to retrieve or drop an object.
- Allied Focus. When you make an attack roll or ability check while an ally is within 5 feet of you, you can choose to have advantage on the roll. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.
