Barbarians who follow the Path of the Ring practice a martial tradition built around weight, balance, and presence. They do not chase foes across the battlefield or strike from afar; instead, they claim a space and dare the world to move them. Through disciplined stance and overwhelming physical control, these warriors turn combat into a contest of resolve, forcing enemies to meet them head-on or be driven back by sheer mass and momentum.
Level 3: Anchor Form
While raging, you gain the following benefits:
- Your unarmed strikes damage becomes 1d6.
- You count as one size larger for the purposes of grappling, shoving, and carrying capacity.
- When you successfully grapple a creature, and as a bonus action afterwards, you can make one unarmed strike against a creature you are grappling.
- When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike, you can attempt to shove that creature as part of the same action. A creature can be shoved in this way once per turn.
Level 6: Holding Grasp
Your grapple DC increases by a number equal to your rage damage bonus.
When a creature grappled by you makes an attack against a creature other than you, you can use your reaction to force the attacking creature to make a Strength saving throw. The save DC equals your Grapple DC. On a failed save, the creature must target you instead, or forego their attack.
Additionally, you can grapple two creatures and still attack normally.
Level 11: Titan Wrestler
You can grapple creatures up to two sizes larger than you. Creatures larger than you have advantage to escape your grapple. You cannot move or drag a grappled creature that is larger than you.
Once per turn, when you attempt to grapple a creature as an action or reaction, you may make one attack as part of the same action.
Level 14: Dominating Throw
While raging, you automatically succeed on saving throws made to resist being forcibly moved or knocked prone.
Additionally, when you successfully grapple a creature, you can choose to make it fall prone. It remains prone while grappled by you.
