Paladins who take the Oath of the Blaze are bound to the sacred duty of tending life’s eternal flame. These protectors embody the warmth and light of the hearth, preserving life and rekindling hope in those who have lost their way. They wield fire not as a tool of destruction, but as a beacon of guidance and a shield against the encroaching cold of despair. By denying those who threaten the fickle nature of life such as the Undead and Deathly Spirits, the paladins of the Blaze burn with an undying passion to protect and nurture the living.
Tenets of the Blaze
Paladins who swear the Oath of the Blaze embrace the eternal flame as a force of life, warmth, and purification. They wield fire to protect the living, banish the undead, and reignite hope in the despairing.
Preserve the Flame. Nurture life, protect those who cannot protect themselves, and stand as a beacon of warmth in the coldest times.
Banish the Undying. Undead are an affront to the cycle of life. Purge them with fire so they may rest in peace.
Ignite the Spirit. Kindle courage in the hearts of the weary, rekindling their passion for life and justice.
Level 3: Oath of Blaze Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of Blaze Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work.

You also know the Control Flames cantrip. You always have Searing Smite prepared, and it does not count against your spells prepared.
Level 3: Channel Divinity
You gain the following Channel Divinity options:
Flaming Wrath. As a bonus action, for 1 minute, your weapon and armor are wreathed in flames. Your weapon attacks deal additional fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier. Creatures that make a melee attack against you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or take fire damage equal to your Charisma modifier.
Warmth of the Hearth. As a bonus action, you radiate fiery light for 10 minutes, shedding bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. While active, allies within the light are considered proficient in Constitution saving throws. You can end this effect early as a bonus action.
Level 7: Aura of Warmth
You and allies within 10 feet of you have resistance to fire and cold damage. In addition, your aura emits mild heat, shielding you and your allies from the effects of cold weather.
When an Undead creature within the aura takes takes fire damage from you, they must make a Wisdom saving throw or be frightened.
At level 18, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Level 15: Cleansing Flames
You can expend 30 points of your Lay on Hands pool to remove one curse or charm affecting a creature. Additionally, when you use Lay on Hands, the target has advantage on their next saving throw made within 1 minute.
Level 20: Born from Ashes
As an action, you transform into the embodiment of undying flame for 1 minute. You gain the following benefits:

You are immune to fire damage.

You are unaffected by difficult terrain caused by heat or fire.

Your fire damage deals additional damage equal to your Charisma modifier + proficiency bonus.

If you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can expend one use of your hit die, regaining hit points equal to the amount rolled.

When you succeed on a death saving throw, you heal for 1d10 hit points.
Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
