Flow Breaker
There are practitioners of a discipline that master the art of internal disruption, striking at the unseen currents that sustain life. Through precise blows to vital points, Flow Breakers redirect the flow of energy within the body—mending their own wounds, halting their foes’ movements, and severing the very forces that keep others alive. Whether trained in hidden monasteries or self-taught through brutal experience, Flowbreakers walk the line between healer and executioner, wielding the body’s inner pathways as both weapon and remedy.
Level 3: Meridian Initiate
You gain proficiency in the Medicine skill. If you are already proficient in it, you have expertise instead.
You can also cast Spare the Dying at will. Intelligence or Wisdom (choose when you gain this subclass) is your spellcasting ability for this spell.
Level 3: Flow Striker
Your unarmed strikes count as finesse weapons for you, and you can use them to perform Sneak Attacks.
You can use your Sneak Attack against a creature within 5 feet of you if it is not at its hit point maximum, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll, even if you don’t have advantage on the attack roll and no ally is within 5 feet of it.
When you deal Sneak Attack damage, you can divide your Sneak Attack dice into damage dice and healing dice. You roll the damage dice and deal damage as normal. Afterwards, roll the healing dice and regain hit points equal to the total rolled.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence or Wisdom modifier (the same as your Meridian Initiate ability), regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Level 9: Disrupting Strikes
When you use a Cunning Strike option that requires a saving throw, you can impose disadvantage on that saving throw.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain half your expended uses (rounded up) when you finish a short rest, and all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Level 13: Severed Flow
Your attacks can deal necrotic damage instead of their normal damage type.
When you deal Sneak Attack damage to a creature, it cannot regain hit points until the end of its next turn.
Level 17: Flow of Life
When you use your Flow Striker feature to regain hit points, you no longer need to separate damage die and healing die. Instead, you can choose to heal half the amount of Sneak Attack damage dealt (rounded up).
When you regain hit points using your Flow Striker feature, you can use your reaction to transfer any amount of that healing to a creature within 30 feet of you.
