Yaksha Bloodline

Sorcerers of the Yaksha bloodline descend from heroic spirits, ascended gods, and wrathful divine beings. Channeling their lineage, they enter a supernatural battle trance, enhancing their bodies with spiritual power and striking with both steel and sorcery.

Level 3: Yaksha Armament

You gain proficiency with light armor and one martial weapon of your choice. You also learn one Weapon Mastery property of your choice for that weapon.

Level 3: Yaksha Manifestation

While your Innate Sorcery is active, you gain the following benefits:

  • You can use your Charisma modifier, instead of Strength or Dexterity, for the attack and damage rolls of weapon attacks you make.
  • You gain a bonus to your Armor Class equal to your Charisma modifier.
  • You have advantage on Constitution saving throws you make to maintain concentration on a spell.

You lose these benefits if you are wearing medium or heavy armor, or if you are using a shield.

Level 3: Yaksha Spells

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Yaksha Spells table. Each spell counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Yaksha Spells

Sorcerer LevelSpells
3Armor of Agathys, Hellish Rebuke, Mirror Image, Spiritual Weapon
5Elemental Weapon, Spirit Guardians
7Fire Shield, Freedom of Movement
9Banishing Smite, Hold Monster

Level 6: Extra Attack

You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

In addition, you can replace one of those attacks with the casting of one of your sorcerer cantrips.

Level 14: Transcendent Armory

You gain proficiency with all martial weapons.

At the end of a long rest, you can replace your chosen Weapon Mastery with another Weapon Mastery for a weapon you are proficient with.

In addition, when you deal damage with a weapon attack, you can change the damage type to force or radiant.

Level 18: Divine Ascension

While your Innate Sorcery is active, you gain the following additional benefits:

  • Your walking speed increases by 10 feet, and opportunity attacks against you are made with disadvantage.
  • You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed.
  • When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher using your action, you can make one weapon attack as part of that same action.
